At the age of 39, after fifteen years of basking in the counter-culture of the 1960s, Peter Coyote leapt headfirst into his film career. Since then, he has worked side-by-side with the some of the greatest filmmakers in modern history, including Roman Polanski, Steven Spielberg, Steven Soderberg, and Sidney Pollack. Coyote is also notorious for his voice-over work, for which he earned an EMMY.

In 2000, Coyote recorded a series on National Parks for Ken Burns and also went on to host the culturally renowned Academy Awards. In the last few years, Coyote has starred in Femme Fatale, A Walk to Remember, Northfork, and Bon Voyage. Along with championing the silver screen, Coyote is also a victor of the tube, nabbing roles on The Inside, The 4400, Commander-in-Chief, and Brothers & Sisters. Coyote’s upcoming flicks include Adopt a Sailor and The Lena Baker Story.
